Service Description
This is the second classroom training session to move participants towards running their own classrooms. You must have completed the previous Fundamentals of Instruction prior to coming to the DS. Once you are successful in the DS course, you will need to complete a Teaching Experience to be a qualified Red Cross Instructor. Training Professional Responders (FRs/EMRs) is a higher calling. Our communities need skilled people in times of emergency. Usually on scene before the ambulance means that your participants carry the responsibility to initiate patient care. Please Review Instructor Development on our website to ensure that you understand the process, and have all of your prerequisites in order. Likewise, wilderness situations require foresight, judgement, and strong leadership. If you do not own a set of instructor books please let me know so that I can order you a set, I will need to apply additional fees for these required books.

To ensure that as many programs run as possible, please let us know if you are not going to be able to make it. We offer full refunds, if you give us greater than four-days notice. Late cancellation under extreme circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis. We are not monsters.
